Eric Wright Civil Engineering Ltd were Main Contractor on the Seathwaite Tarn Remedial scheme for United Utilities and despite some of the challenges of location, landscape and weather, completed the works skilfully and successfully, establishing our company as a specialist in reservoir projects and contracts of an environmentally sensitive nature.

EWCE was formed in 1991 as part of the Eric Wright Group, a privately owned company operating in the construction industry. Our core skills are in infrastructure, highways, rail and water all with dedicated teams with a passion for going beyond expectation.

EWCE work under a Framework with United Utilities on their Capital Maintenance Minor Works Agreement which has recently been extended. Under this contract we have completed over 400 projects ranging in value from £1k - £1m on schemes of varying complexity and nature. The works are Mechanical, Electrical, Civils or Instrumentation on water and wastewater facilities throughout the North West. We have an expert in house team who operate flexibly, efficiently and skilfully, designing, scoping and installing solutions for our client.

EWCE’s Management System maintains triple accreditation to ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and is approved under UVDBverify for the water industry and Link-up for the rail sector.
