Memcor® Systems (a division of Siemens Water Technologies UK) is
a specialist supplier of membrane filtration systems for the
Municipal Water market in Europe and the Middle East.
Membrane
filtration systems are innovative and flexible processes that
remove all particles from a source water resulting in
exceptional quality filtered water.
Memcor® membrane
systems are used to treat large volumes of poor quality waters
removing harmful bacteria such as cryptosporidium so that these
waters can be safe to drink. The membranes are also used to
treat wastewaters which can be recycled for industrial or
irrigation applications and sea water for as part of the
desalination process in areas where naturally occurring water
for drinking is in short supply.
As part of a
contract Memcor® Systems would typically supply all the plant
equipment (membranes and ancillaries to operate the plant) as
well as installation and commissioning of the plant. Memcor UK
has a team of staff who are specialist dedicated experts in the
field of membrane treatment of water.
Memcor® Systems
in the UK have supplied over 60 operating membrane plants mainly
to Water Utility Companies. Memcor in conjunction with overseas
partners have also supplied around 40 plants in the rest of
Europe and the Middle East in a variety of water treatment
applications.
